Jackson loves to do "pull-ups". He tries to sit up or stand up next to everything. I have to pay close attention to what he's doing these days. Every time I turn around for a second he finds something new to get into or on top of. Yesterday he climbed on top of a box and tried to pull a lamp over on top of himself....eek! We have lots of tumbles, but he's tough. Here's some pics of my cute baby boy.
I feel like Jackson changes every day. He talks more and more all the time. He is also very patient. My mom and I took him to Farmington for a whole day this week and he was great! I think he takes after his Daddy in that department. I feel hugely blessed to have such a wonderful family. As I look forward to my very first Mother's Day, I am reflecting on what an amazing gift I have been blessed with. Jackson is such a joy and I can't imagine life without him. Everyone always tells you when your pregnant that life will never be the same as before kids. I always thought, "who wants life to be the same forever anyway?" I am loving this new phase of life! Granted, I don't get a shower every day and, therefore, smell like baby puke the majority of the time, but it's totally worth it. When Jackson is asleep in your arms or gets excited to show you how high he can jump, you forget about what life was like before. We are truly living in the here and now every day and enjoying each and every stage of Jackson's life. I thank God every day for my amazing hubby and this miracle of life He has entrusted us with. Jarrett, thanks for being the best husband, dad, and best friend a girl could ask for! Isn't this a great adventure we're on together? I hope all you other mother's out there are as blessed as I am, and have a very Happy Mother's Day.

Wow! He's a vertical boy! The world must look very different from 2 feet high. Can't wait till you guys get out here... to see if he can hold a fishing rod !!
You are an amazing mama:) I love you, Denise! (and of course Jackson and Jarrett, too:) and Beans.)
Wow Jackson, you just zoomed right through the crawling stage and on to the pre-walking stuff. I'm looking around my house at all the stuff 2' high that you'll be getting into--books, cd's, Louie . . .
Lovely, Denise!!! Happy First Mother's Day!!! Love, Jodi
